An opening now exists for VAN SALESMEN to conduct daily visits to all assigned outlets for the sole purpose of selling and merchandising products.

KEY ACTIVITIES

Responsible for direct sales according to assigned routes.
Conduct daily visit withan assigned helper to all assigned outlets for the sole purpose of selling and merchandising products.
Instruct helper to carry products to the assigned area as instructed by the customer.
Ensure the assigned area route is adequately covered and conform to delivery schedule as set by the area supervisor.
Conduct periodic mapping of assigned area, and inform the area supervisor of new establishments that have opened.
Ensure that sales target is achieved in a timely manner.
Communicate with the assigned area supervisor potential and actual problem that may affects sales on a daily basis.
Deliver a daily report on the total sales activity to the assigned area supervisor.
Ensure that credit customer accounts are settled on time.
Ensure that the monthly statement of accountsare delivered on time to the customer.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

High school education.
Valid UAE driver’s license.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in field sales.
Knowledge of roads and establishments in assigned area.
Courteous behaviour when dealing with customers.
Initiative in identifying new and potential customers.
Ability to coordinate with driver delivery routes.
Ability to achieve sales targets.
Maximum 35 years of age.
Fluent written and spoken English and Malayam (Arabic an advantage).

DUTIES

Knowledge of Product Line:

Extensive knowledge of Birthday Party Packages, including all elements, amenities, and add-ons.
Full understanding of Birthday Party Themes.

Client Relations:

Meet with clients, field birthday party inquiries, and give tours.
Schedule Birthday Parties.
Use the Birthday Party Registration Website and assemble and send Birthday Party Contracts.
Confirm all Birthday Party details.
Maintain accurate and complete files for each Birthday Party client.

Vendors:

Maintain good relations with all outsourced vendors, including those for birthday cakes, pizza, party platters, and entertainment.
Place, confirm, and receive orders from outsourced vendors.
Maintain accurate and complete files for vendors and invoices.

Staff:

Manage all Birthday Party staff, including all Birthday Party Leaders and the Annex Birthday Party Manager (if applicable).
Assist in sourcing, hiring, training and supervising staff.
Manage staff schedules and payroll.
Communicate expectations and responsibilities of staff.

Inventory:

Conduct monthly inventory and enter all items into inventory systems.
Keep track of all items and re-order when running low.
Maintain accurate inventory files.

Birthday Party Execution:

Ensure that location is properly set-up on the day of the party.
Supervise staff.
Greet clients and bring family to party zone.

Sales:

Work with members both in-person and on the phone to register them for classes & memberships.
Work with members both in-person and on the phone to perform swaps and schedule make-up classes.
Offer facility tours to members, guests, and visitors.

Personal Development:

Attend weekly meetings with Mayor.
Continually self-evaluate and communicate development needs to the Mayor.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree graduate.
Extensive experience in birthday party or event planning.
Can work on weekends.
Extremely detail-oriented and with an excellent work ethic.
Very creative, possesses excellent social skills and with strong interpersonal relationship skills.
Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and experience working with the Internet.
Passion and desire to interact with children and families.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Can work in a high-pressure environment.

REMUNERATION

Between AED 8,000 to 10,000 per month plus other benefits.
